Extracurricular Activities Club of Canadian Inte

On September 2nd, the extracurricular activities club of Canadian International School of Shenyang officially opened for all students. Football, yoga, dance, chess, chorus, science, language and literature... A variety of programs will provide students with more opportunities and platforms to enhance their abilities and gain self-confidence.

In the new semester, many experienced teachers from other international schools in our AKD group have joined CISS which makes the faculty team even more powerful. Moreover, International After-Class Activities and Clubs have been made available by the CISS staff for our schools students.

This  semester, the activities will last from September 2nd until November 20th;

On Nov. 20th, the school will also add new programs and continue to develop areas of interest for students based on their needs and curriculum.

Dr. Peng visited Shenyang and attended our opening ceremony. He came to make a comprehensive assessment of our facilities and guide us in different aspects of our preparations. He also set high standards  for the school's development, so as to obtain the best academic courses that we will be proud of in CISSand he said: AKD Group will fully support the development of the activities and club programs.

According to reports, the Canadian International School of Shenyang-CISS was established in May 2017, as the first international school founded by the AKD International Education Group in Northeast China, filling the gap in the development of international education in Liaoning.

CIS Shenyang which officially opened its enrollment in early 2018, is a comprehensive 13-grade curriculum school with kindergarten, primary school, middle school and high school. CISS provides anEnglish based state-of-the-art Canadian curriculum, with foreign teachers professionally qualified to carry out daily education and educational activities. CISS accepts the children of foreigners or children with foreign green cards, as well as those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Our fundamental purpose is to cultivate well-developed high-quality international talents whose student status is recognized by the Department of Education of New Brunswick, Canada, for what we adopt the world's most advanced Power School system. Moreover, our students are also eligible for the HSKChinese certification exam and we have been certified by the IBO and are eligible to offer IB courses. All of these put our school at the vanguard of international education, as there is no similar school in the Liaoning province at present. That gap between CIS Shenyang  and other schools will only get bigger as we get better with experience and time.

With our completed teaching facilities, high-level teaching team, advanced school philosophy, and rigorous teaching requirements, CISS has attracted attention from major foreign institutions and foreigners in the Liaoning region, and has also won a high reputation among students' parents.It is worth mentioning that we have been certified by the International IB Organization and are eligible to offer IB courses in just over a year.The final certification will be passed by December 2019. 

This qualification has allowed CISS to further expand its leading position in all international schools in Liaoning.
