CISS Becomes the First IBO World DP School in Liaoning

The Canadian International School of Shenyang(CISS) Becomes the First IBO World DP School in Liaoning Province

    At the beginning of the new semester, CISS received a piece of good news from IBO that Canadian International School of Shenyang(CISS) has just been acknowledged by IBO as a fully Authorized IBO Diploma Program (DP) World School. CISS is also the first IBO World DP School in Liaoning Province.    

  IB World Schools offer a Junior and Senior year curriculum aimed at students who are motivated to participate in a challenging and rewarding curriculum of advanced coursework to prepare for University.

    The internationally focused curriculum encourages students to critically examine course content, reflect on their own learning, develop a strong sense of their own identity, and build appreciation for diverse perspectives from other cultures.

    The IB Diploma Program yields tremendous academic benefits and is widely recognized by universities around the globe.

   The Canadian International School of Shenyang-CISS was established in May 2017, as the first international school founded by the AKD International Education Group in Northeast China, filling the gap in the development of international education in Liaoning.

    CIS Shenyang is a comprehensive 13-grade curriculum school with kindergarten, primary school, middle school and high school. CISS accepts the children of foreigners or children with foreign green cards, as well as those from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan.
