CISS participated in Liaoyang Marathon 2019

   At 8:00 a.m. on October 13th, the 2019 Liaoyang International Marathon Competition officially started. Our CIS Shenyang team added many new faces to this year’s run! These included teachers and local staff from the Canadian International School of Shenyang (CISS). The presence of CISS team added to the increasing international participation in our Liaoyang Community and to the international competition and beautiful landscape in “LiaoMa”.

   In recent years, the Marathon has become a benchmark international sporting event in China, attracting marathon participants and fans both from home and abroad. According to the Head of the School, Mr. Alan Norman, all the teachers and students in Shenyang Canadian International School are loyal fans of Marathon and have already participated in the 2019 Shenyang International Marathon Competition held last month. We continue to develop our students to become worldwide citizens with global vision which is strongly advocated by CISS. This wonderful International Marathon event is an important way for our students to realize this at CISS. Our teachers and local staff all embrace this CISS love of life, sports and “LiaoMa”. They are especially inspired by this “LiaoMa” in 2019.
